Things I love: Cinderella of Boston

I am a small person. No, really.  I stand a towering 4’10″, and when I say towering, I think the only things I tower over are ants. And maybe a chihuahua.  One of the curses of being under 5′ is having small feet!  Like…all my shoes are kids shoes — size 2.  While that’s a plus for price purposes, I remember getting really upset in high school when my friends would go to the mall and look at heels or swap shoes with each other.  I didn’t like going to the mall, especially for shoes. More than once we’d be in the shoe department and I’d just sit and wait. Yeah, I was fun then.  It was annoying, and frankly it was depressing. And then, like a gift from above, I found Cinderella of Boston online when I finally got fed up with not having “adult” shoes. They have shoes for sizes 2 -5, and when I first found them they had a few heel options, but mostly they had shoes for seniors. I didn’t care though, one pair of heels was all I needed.   Since then, I have seen their business grow, their website updated, and more importantly more choices!! Evening heels, causal heels, tall boots, mid boots.  Sweet victory! Take that, little chihuahua!

So every now and then I get a new pair, and I’m excited to introduce my newest pair: the Hampshire! They arrived for my birthday and I’m thrilled. Their three inch heels top anything I have now, and I love them.  They help me reach the 5′ barrier that has taunted me for years.
