When I met with Michelle a week before her wedding to look over locations together, she said, “Yeah, I think it’s supposed to rain all week.” What I didn’t realize at the time is that it was LITERALLY going to rain ALL WEEK. There was local flooding, roads were closed everywhere, and the morning of the wedding was yet again overcast. Thankfully, Michelle put two of her bridesmaids in charge of the weather; I don’t know what they did, but it completely cleared up that afternoon and it was a gorgeous day!
Everyone cheered when they became Mr. and Mrs. It’d been a long time coming. The two that came together years ago as college friends were now life-mates forever. Joy filled each face and even I found myself doing a fist pump in celebration. It seems their day could not have been more perfect; the weather, the friends and family that surrounded them, and of course saying “I do” to your best friend doesn’t hurt either.
Guys, thank you, thank you, thank you for letting me be a part of it! I can’t thank you enough for allowing me and trusting me to be part of your day. It was truly an honor for me to watch you guys become one, and to celebrate such a wonderful day with you. Take a look at a few (or a lot) of my favorites!

I had my dad along helping me, and I have to give him credit for the creative positioning of the rings AND the shoes on that wood post!

Michelle and Jeffrey opted to do a first look, and I could not have been more thrilled! The light was perfect and we had plenty of time to walk around Historic Occoquan before the ceremony! I got to snap a few shots of Jeffrey while we waited for Michelle’s arrival; that shot on the left is my favorite! Such a model….

Michelle on her way to see her *very soon to be* husband!

It was such a beautiful moment that they shared..

Portrait time!!

Did I take this picture with my camera over my head because I’m too short? I sure did.

Michelle – do you know how GORGEOUS you are?!

I was so in love with the lighting at this spot.

You. Are. Adorable.

Michelle picked out this next spot for her group portraits; we had to adjust a little because of all the rain, but I LOVED this spot!

Off to the ceremony! The ceremony and reception were held at Harbour View in Woodbridge.

I’m showing this next picture because Michelle decided to do her family pictures outside, and I loved the way they turned out! Look at that light!

Aaand a little more time for some portraits….

Get it girl.

Gah! I loved this next one sooooo much! You guys rock…

This last portrait shot was taken on the way to the reception; because they did a First Look, they made it to their cocktail hour about 20 minutes after the ceremony ended!

Candy!! Michelle did the candy bar, but the catering was done by Kitchen Gourmet

The best man’s speech was pretty awesome. I was laughing almost the whole time!
