Wahoo! Today was a big day for me! First, let’s get personal!
I have admitted (more than a few times) that I just CANNOT control my curly hair. One day it does one thing, and another day it does something else. Even if the process of moussing or gelling was exactly the same, there’s no way to tell how it would come out. It might come out nice, but more likely it could be crispy (too much mousse), incredibly frizzy (not enough mousse), or it could be in an awesome triangle shape because of the disgusting ends. Any of the above situations usually led to me pulling it back because my hair was such a pain! And forget about touching it – you can’t touch curly hair after it’s dried..or while it’s drying, you’ll break up the curls and ruin it! I’ve always told people, “hey, I like curly hair! Just not mine”.
Well, a hair cut and a new product later, I think I’ve found my solution! I’ve said that before only to be disappointed the next time I tried it, but I really think this is it! Which means I can be proud to have my curly hair for the first time in my life!
There it is! My new best friend: Suave Captivating Curls!!
Look!! The curls are actually…curled! And not straggly or crispy!
Ok, so I realize to some this may seem trivial, but it was a total triumph for me! It means I don’t have to spend an hour straightening my hair all the time!
But I digress. On to more important things.
If you haven’t noticed, I’ve made some changes to my blog!! And also to my website. I am still using Showit but now I have the FULL version so I can have more pages! You will also notice that I’ve kept the basic color scheme, but I’ve nixed the toile (I think I only had it before because I didn’t really know what to put there) and now I’ve replaced it with something that I feel like is more unique to me and my brand! I really like it! The other big change is that it’s finally www.curriefitzhughphotography.com instead of having a Showit domain! I feel so legit!!
