OH MY GOSH I’M EXCITED!!! You’ll never guess! Katelyn James is hosting a workshop!! For those of you who know me, you know how highly I think of my former suitemate Katelyn and that she is an inspiration! Her photography is BEAUTIFUL, her spirit is infectious, and her willing and helpful attitude makes Katelyn a true gem in the photography world. If you don’t follow her blog, you should. You’re missing out.
But back to the reason for this post: the Sugar Shoot! She announced this on her blog Wednesday and as I read it, I was all “Pick me! Pick me!” I jumped at the chance.
I went to her first workshop in November of 2009 at CNU, and it was soo helpful! I went understanding what ISO, aperature, and shutter speed all did independently, but I had no idea how to make them work together. She talked about manual shooting, lighting, composition, editing and a bunch of other things. It was really fun; one of the first times I started taking photography more seriously. And now I get another opportunity to learn alongside 14 other photographers and I couldn’t be happier!

Thank you Katelyn for hosting another workshop and letting me be a part of it! Can’t wait for March 19th!
Make me happy, leave some comments!
