Caroline and Shaun are the sweetest couple. You may notice that Shaun and Caroline both wore wedding rings during their engagement session because *drum roll* they are already married!! You see, Shaun is active military, so they’ve technically already tied the knot. But what they didn’t do was have their nice big wedding celebration with friends and family. Yet.
They are celebrating their marriage this coming April and after this engagement session, I could not be more excited! We chatted about their upcoming day and life in general and I have to say I just loved them! And after seeing how cute they are together in these pics, you will too!
Guys, thanks so much for braving Alexandria traffic on a weekday morning! I had a blast walking around Old Town with you guys in the nice weather! Hope you enjoyed your holiday trip to see family! Enjoy some of my favorites!
This was my second session in Old Town, and so I really wanted to make sure that it looked different than the last session I did there. And it totally did! Though it was cloudy and all the trees are officially winterized, these totally look like spring! Check out all the greens with Caroline’s beautiful purple sweater! Can you tell it’s the end of December?!
Girl, your eyes are AMAZINGGG!!! And the fact that you’re a CNU girl gives you extra cool points too.
I hope you can tell in these photos that Shaun is such a good-natured, happy, friendly guy. And Caroline’s sweetness is the perfect complement!
My favorite series…
I think this one was my total favorite! Ya’ll rocked the romantic shot…
See? This is the first one that looks like winter! I actually almost left it out because of that, but then I decided I really liked it.
Ok, coats off! Time for fun!
Lately I’ve been really challenging myself to get a variety of shots since I felt my images were so monotonous (same distances and cropping for example). So, after getting some of them on the pier, I went back on the sidewalk to shoot back at them and I’m so glad I did! It ended up being one of my favorites!
And one last shot of them being them – fun and in love!
