They had met before. But those were different circumstances. She was a junior, he was a freshman. And their attentions? Well..on other people. But now? This was different. Ashley had graduated from Pensacola, and when Joel went with their mutual friend, Mike, to visit Ashley twice that summer, the two of them spent both weekends talking the night away while Mike slept. Yep, this was different. She was falling for him. He was tall and athletic, he was funny and they’d hit it off. And he asked her out the next weekend. Joel took her to Kingsfest and they began dating, sharing their athleticism and their faith. As the year went on, they found that they loved going around the monuments in DC. On the weekend of their one year anniversary, it would become even more special when at the Jefferson Memorial Joel asked for forever. Of course she said yes, and now the two are planning their wedding and building the story of their lives.

The lady who owned this house came out and said that people are always taking pictures in front of her house. She said she didn’t know why, but I DO!!
