The weather was absolutely perfect and the Dahlgren Chapel was set up in preparation for Ashley and Joel‘s big day. As their closest family and friends gathered for the celebration, they chatted and smiled in anticipation. This wasn’t just a wedding, after all – it was the joining of two people under God’s mercy and the fulfillment of His plan in their lives. Voices echoed in the stone chapel while violin music drifted from the balcony. The sound hushed as the bridal party filed in and then in the doorway the stunning bride stood silhouetted arm in arm with her father. She walked joyfully toward her best friend where they joined hands, hearts and lives for forevermore.
Ashley and Joel, I cannot possibly begin to express the honor and privilege it was to share this day with you. It was a complete joy! Your wedding was perfect and beautiful not just because of the awesome stone chapel, the incredible flowers and the gorgeous couple – it was your love for the Lord that brought you together and will keep you sustained in the hard times and united in the years to come. It was so evident that the bond you share because of it will never be broken and I thank you for who you are and who you will be – together. From the bottom of my heart, I thank you for letting me be a part of it. I hope you guys are having a blast in Lake Tahoe and San Francisco! Enjoy some of my favorites!
