A Miracle

A miracle has happened ladies and gentlemen! Our new friend, the internet man, made his appearance and has graced us with the phenomenon that allows me to speak to you once again! After an hour and some wiped-up muddy footprints on my carpet, I can now blog freely from the comfort of my home! Which is good, because I was beginning to miss you guys!

To celebrate my return to society, I’m blogging a few pictures from a recent weekend trip I took with my parents.  It was really only one full day, but it was wonderful! We biked, we ate, we played golf, we ate some more. And I loved every minute of it.

We went to Bay Creek where we went last year for some family time. It is so beautiful and I appreciate it more each time I go. We went a few weeks later than normal and this time they had fields and fields of cotton! Who knew? One of the waitresses there said that cotton has only returned to the area in the last 15 years or so, and boy am I glad! We stopped on the way to the golf course that morning to snag a few pictures – it was gorgeous!  Take a look!

The picture below was on a self timer I set up – we were on the first tee and I happened to look behind me and see this BEAUTIFUL scene. I convinced Dad that we should take a picture and then we decided it would be an awesome place to put a wedding couple… Anyone with me? I can see it now….

Hope everyone is having a fabulous Saturday!
